Imagine a scaled down version of a rally stage laid out on a non-paved plot of land where the course is delineated by traffic cones instead of trees or rocks.  As a result\, you are able to drive the event in your everyday car on the weekend and still drive to work on Monday (after a good washing). \nThe Milwaukee Region will have helmets to loan and will assist the first-time competitors with entering the appropriate class\, making their way through technical inspection and finding their way around the course. DESCRIPTION:The Sports Car Club of America® has officially announced the 2019 SCCA® National Championship Runoffs® will be held October 8-13 at beautiful VIRginia International Raceway (VIR) in Alton\, Virginia. This will be the very first time the Runoffs has been held at the sprawling venue located near the border of Virginia and North Carolina. \n“We’re thrilled to take amateur racing’s most prestigious event to one of the most beautiful and challenging racetracks in the country\, returning it to the Eastern United States for the first time since 2015\,” said Eric Prill\, SCCA Vice President & COO.  “The VIR visit continues SCCA’s current practice of moving the Runoffs to different locations around the country each year.  And with the amazing track\, facility and backdrop VIR offers\, we’re sure the Runoffs will be a ‘must-attend’ for our entire membership and racing fans alike in 2019\, and a fantastic way to cap SCCA’s 75th anniversary year.” \nRecognized as one of Car and Driver magazine’s top six road courses in the nation\, VIR draws thousands of spectators each year for some of the best road racing in the country. Its uphill Esses and sharp elevation changes not only make it a fan and driver favorite\, but VIR has also received international acclaim and rave reviews as one of the most exciting road courses in all of motorsports. \nConnie Nyholm\, VIR’s Owner and CEO\, noted that the track first opened in 1957 as one of the country’s first permanent road racing circuits. Recognizing greatness\, the 3.27-mile track — which will be used for the Runoffs — has remained exactly the same since\, with the only change being widening some places to offer safer run-off room. \n“I can’t tell you how excited we are to welcome the best amateur drivers in the U.S. for the 56th edition of the Runoffs\,” Nyholm said.  “SCCA sanctioned the very first race here\, and again in March 2000 when Harvey Siegel and I re-opened the resurrected VIR. Having the 2019 Runoffs will be an important part of VIR’s history.” \nThe first official event at VIR was an SCCA race that attracted stars like Carroll Shelby\, Carl Haas\, Bob Holbert\, Augie Pabst\, Don Yenko\, Dr. Dick Thompson and Walt Hansgen. SUMMARY:Roads Scamper Divisional Tour Rallye
DESCRIPTION:Join your fellow RoadRally enthusiasts for this 120 mile time-speed-distance Divisional Tour RoadRally in the beautiful Wisconsin countryside.  You and your rally partner will enjoy a scenic rally adventure through the marvelous country roads north of Madison\, Wisconsin.  This rally will use the new Richta GPS autonomous checkpoint app.  Contestants will download the app to their smartphone in advance of the rally.  During the rally this app will use the GPS signals and automatically record your arrival time at each checkpoint and then display your score to you!!  No more waiting until the rally is over to find out how you did.  A bonus feature of this Richta GPS checkpoint system is that we can provide you with many more checkpoints and more challenging checkpoint locations.  Expect close to 100 checkpoints in this 120 mile rally. Contestants will need a smartphone in order to run this event.  If you’re planning to run another rally app during the event\, you’ll need to do that on a separate device.  The Richta GPS checkpoint app needs to be the only app running on your phone during the rally. \nThis is a tour type rally\, so there are no tricks or traps. \nThere is a 24 car limit on this rally and we expect it will sell out. \nStarting Location:\nCountry Inn and Suites\n2212 Deming Way\nMiddleton\, Wisconsin. \nSchedule:\nCheck-in – 8:00 AM to 8:30 AM Sunday\, June 9\, 2019 \nFirst Car Off – 9:01 AM  Sunday\, June 9\, 2019\nFirst Car Finished – Approx 1:30 pm at the Dorf Haus Supper Club\, Roxbury\, Wisconsin \nCost:\n$35/car for SCCA members\, 2 people per car required.\n$40/car if neither contestant is an SCCA member\, 2 people per car required. \nPre-registration is required for this event.  General Instructions will be emailed to all registered contestants 2 weeks prior to the event. \nWant further information on Roads Scamper?  Contact the rallymaster:  Jim Crittenden at james.a.crittenden@gmail.com

DESCRIPTION:Join your fellow RoadRally enthusiasts for this 180 mile time-speed-distance National Course RoadRally in the beautiful Wisconsin countryside. You and your rally partner will enjoy a scenic rally adventure through the marvelous country roads west of Madison\, Wisconsin. You’ll be tested on your ability to observe\, reason\, maintain the assigned average speeds\, and follow explicit directions. This year’s event will use both Numbered and Lettered Route Instructions. There will be a fixed Main Road rule. Experienced rallyists will find this rally to be one of the easier National Course rallies of the year. However\, it is not recommended for people who have never rallied before. It would be like a first time skier attempting a blue diamond (Moderate difficulty) ski trail. \nPRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.\nRegistration will close at 11:59 PM on Thursday\, June 6th. DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the Milwaukee Track Day / Time Trial series. The Milwaukee Track Days series is a great way to enjoy performance driving in your street car on real racing tracks in a controlled environment. The Milwaukee Track Day / Time Trial series events are held at locations such as Blackhawk Farms Raceway in South Beloit\, IL\, the road course at the Historic Milwaukee Mile\, and the world famous Road America in Elkhart Lake\, Wisconsin. \nTrack Day\nWith close personal driving instruction\, and restricted passing conditions\, the Milwaukee Track Day series is a great way to legally test the limits of your car without worrying about contact with other vehicles on the track. \nTime Trial\nIf you are looking for a more competitive experience our Time Trial program is for you\, this expands on our Track Day model to include classing and timing of laps. DESCRIPTION:UPDATE:  Due to weather we need to cancel RallyX Event #2\, if you registered you have received a full refund.   \nRallyCross is the most widespread and readily accessible form of extreme dirt motorsport in the Sports Car Club of America\, and the perfect place to see if you have what it takes to power slide your way to victory. Imagine a scaled down version of a rally stage laid out on a non-paved plot of land where the course is delineated by traffic cones instead of trees or rocks.  As a result\, you are able to drive the event in your everyday car on the weekend and still drive to work on Monday (after a good washing). \nThe Milwaukee Region will have helmets to loan and will assist the first-time competitors with entering the appropriate class\, making their way through technical inspection and finding their way around the course. DESCRIPTION:Please join us for CenDiv’s Championship Series\nDouble Divisional Runoffs Qualifier\nPresented by Milwaukee\, Chicago\, Blackhawk Valley\, and Land O’Lakes Regions\nApril 13-14\, 2019 at Blackhawk Farms Raceway \nThere are on-track sessions on Saturday\, 04/13/2019\, morning for the Drivers School participants.  As such\, the first session for the Divisional will not occur until around 9:15 am.  The on-track sessions for the Sunday\, 04/14/2019\, Divisional will begin around 8:30 am. \nDetails will be posted once they are available.
