SUMMARY:SCCA RallyX Nationals
DESCRIPTION:SCCA RallyCross is a scaled-down version of a rally stage laid out on a non-paved plot of land where the course is delineated by traffic cones instead of trees or rocks. Participation requirements are considerably less than those associated with other forms of performance rally\, so drivers usually only need a mechanically sound\, hardtop vehicle and a helmet to come play in the dirt.\n\nThe site also features plentiful camping space as well as dedicated bathroom and shower facilities. The Western Ohio/Ohio Valley Regions have hosted outstanding post-race gatherings with plenty of complimentary barbeque and spirits on Saturday nights at National Tour events. SUMMARY:SCCA Solo Nationals
DESCRIPTION:The SCCA Autocross National Championship – known as “Solo Nationals” – is where more than 1\,200 autocrossers come from across the country to compete and meet in one of the largest motorsports gatherings on the planet and the premier SCCA® autocross competition and social event of the year. \nTo crown a national champion in each class\, drivers get three runs each on two different courses with the fastest times from each course combined for the official results. This magnitude of drivers and runs takes four days to complete with half of the drivers running on Tuesday/Wednesday of the week and the other half running Thursday/Friday. Along the way drivers\, friends\, and crew enjoy a welcome party\, tailgating late into the night a practice course and two awards banquets. \nFor the autocrosser serious about speed or socializing\, the SCCA Solo Nationals is the ultimate destination. \nMost recently Solo Nationals calls Lincoln\, Nebraska home\, but it has more than forty-five years of history and multiple locations where many have come to hang out with fellow autocrossers and compete for a coveted “jacket” which signifies a national champion.

SUMMARY:Mini Monte Regional Tour
DESCRIPTION:Come joint Milwaukee Region SCCA for a rallye.  We will be exploring the northern Kettle Moraine forest area of Sheboygan and Manitowoc Counties.  We will also pass by Road America race track\, and run some of the original Elkhart Lake street race course of the early 1950s. \nThis event will be a bit different than our other rallyes in that we will be using Monte Carlo style timing and route instructions.  Monte Carlo timing refers to the system used in the classic European rallyes of the 1950s.  In a Monte Carlo\, you are not assigned an average speed (CAST).  Instead\, all the controls are shown on the route instructions\, along with the official mileage and an arrival time for car 0.  The contestant needs to determine the proper speed to travel in order to pass the control at the right time.  Penalties will be assessed at 1 point per second early or late\, up to a maximum of 1 minute (60 points).  You can expect to see many controls on the route\, including some gauntlets where several controls happen very close together. \nThe Kettle Moraine is very scenic and should provide for a nice day on some wonderful winding roads.  We hope to see you there. \n  \nDate:  August 21\, 2021\nRegistration:  9:00 AM\nDrivers School: 10:30 AM\nFirst Car Starts:  11:01 AM\nFinish around 4 PM\nCost: $40/car\nLocation: Deer Trace Kohler Shopping Center \nWI28 and I-43 in Sheboygan\, WI (near Home Depot) \nGPS 43.71607473761796\, -87.76527373030312 \n  \nRegister at:  www.msreg.com/MonteRallye21

Imagine a scaled down version of a rally stage laid out on a non-paved plot of land where the course is delineated by traffic cones instead of trees or rocks.  As a result\, you are able to drive the event in your everyday car on the weekend and still drive to work on Monday (after a good washing). \nThe Milwaukee Region will have helmets to loan and will assist the first-time competitors with entering the appropriate class\, making their way through technical inspection and finding their way around the course.
