DESCRIPTION:RallyCross is the most widespread and readily accessible form of extreme dirt motorsport in the Sports Car Club of America\, and the perfect place to see if you have what it takes to power slide your way to victory. Imagine a scaled down version of a rally stage laid out on a non-paved plot of land where the course is delineated by traffic cones instead of trees or rocks.  As a result\, you are able to drive the event in your everyday car on the weekend and still drive to work on Monday (after a good washing). \nThe Milwaukee Region will have helmets to loan and will assist the first-time competitors with entering the appropriate class\, making their way through technical inspection and finding their way around the course. SUMMARY:Badger Burrow Road Rallye
DESCRIPTION:Join your fellow car enthusiasts for this 5 hour\, 120 mile time-speed-distance road rally.  You and a partner (driver and navigator) will be issued a set of Route Instructions that will take you on a scenic journey through the marvelous country roads in the driftless area southwest of Madison\, Wisconsin.  This is a “Tour” type rally and there are no traps or tricks – just drive\, enjoy the great roads and marvelous scenery and try to arrive at each checkpoint at precisely the right time. Checkpoints will be set up along the way to monitor how well you are following the assigned average speeds.  Awards will be presented to the teams who do the best job of arriving at the checkpoints at the proper times.  This is a rally designed especially for people with little or no rally experience. \nFor those who simply wish to experience the event without competing\, we have added a TREK class.  For the TREK\, cars will travel in convoy\, led by an experienced tour leader. \nWatch Facebook ‘Badger Burrow Rallye 2022’ for more information as it developed\, \nor contact Chairperson Jay Nemeth-Johannes \njay.johannes@smartsensorsystems.com \nor call (970)290-9797. \nStarting location : \nGrandma Mary’s Cafe\n175 US-14\nArena\, WI 53503 \nSaturday\, May 5th\nRegistration – 9:00 am\nFirst Car Off – 11:00 am\nFirst Car Finished – ~ 4:15 pm \nFinish Location: \nThe Shed\n123 N Lexington St\nSpring Green\, WI 53588 \nCost: \nRally entry is $40.00/car\,  a minimum of 2 people per car is required\, but you may have up to 4 people per car.  TREK entry is $20.00/car  No limit on number per car. \nPre-registration is required for this event.  General Instructions that explain more details about how the rally works will be emailed to all registered contestants 2 weeks prior to the event. \nIMPORTANT:  This event uses automatic scoring and GPS checkpoints.  You will be timed automatically as your car passes the checkpoint location and your score will be immediately displayed.  Contestants need to use a smart phone during the rally\, running the Richta competitor app.  Please download the app from the playstore (android) or apple store (apple).  Please read the appendix of the general instructions for further details. \nSound interesting?  Want further information?  Contact the chairperson:\njay.johannes@smartsensorsystems.com
